With the last of the snow melting, and warmer weather on tap for this weekend, we’re going to hold a public workday on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 9am to around noon.
Since the ground is liable to be soft and muddy in many places, we’re planning to meet at the west entrance, adjacent to the pumphouse along Elm Creek. Park near the bridge, and walk east along Elm Creek. We’ll be working on clearing trail just past the small stream.
Bring work clothes, including gloves, head protection, and eye protection. We’ll have the Trail in a Box on site, with hand and power tools, but please feel free to bring your own tools if you like.
