After a few days of sun and wind, the trails have finally dried out enough to ride, and the singletrack at Lehigh Portland Trails is in great shape, fast, and smooth.
It’s Spring at Lehigh Portland Trails. Gotta love the fresh green leaves and flowers coming in. It’s exhilarating just to walk or ride through the woods this time of the year!

One of the more interesting trees that can be found in the woods along the Lehigh Portland Trails is Gymnocladus dioicus, known as the “Kentucky Coffee Tree”.
The Lehigh Portland Trails run through a wooded area along Elm Creek and the quarry lake. The dense growth and isolation from human populations make the site a haven for wildlife.
Limestone bluffs rise over the northeastern edge of the quarry lake, offering a dazzling view from the trails.
