The Connector Trail connects the Southwind Rail Trail to the Lehigh Portland Trails Western Trailhead. The Connector Trail goes from South Washington Avenue, through Elm Creek Park South, along Elm Creek, underneath the State Street Bridge, and onto the Southwind via an old railroad spur.

The Connector Trail passes through the entrance to Elm Creek Park South. The area was once a tourist camp, back when this was the King of Trails Highway (precursor to US-169). The stone walls were once part of a stone archway.

The Connector Trail intersects the Southwin Rail Trail just south of the Elm Creek Trestle Bridge. Turn right to head to Iola and the Prairie Spirit Trail, or left to go to Humboldt.
