“Hobo Camp” is an informal name for a location along the South Loop Trail, which was once a homestead, but now contains an old utility trailer that has seen better days. When first encountered, the trailer contained chairs, a table, and drawers, as if someone was occasionally using the trailer as an overnight camp site. Hence: hobo camp.
