The weather looks to be fantabulous this weekend, so let’s clear some trail!
We’re hoping for a nice turnout, and planning to split into two workgroups. One will finish cleaning up the backbone trail on the west end (meaning that we’ll have an unbroken end-to-end trail finally!), while the other will work on clearing a new extension of the backbone trail on the east end.
We’re meeting at 9am, at the eastern trailhead, at the corner of 1600th and Nebraska Road (see map / streetview). Bring work clothes, including gloves, head protection, and eye protection. We’ll have the Trail in a Box on site, with hand and power tools, but please feel free to bring your own tools if you prefer.
