Lehigh Portland Trails Work Day January 17th

posted in: News 0

The Lehigh Portland Trails are hosting a public work day on January 17th, 2015.

After a long stretch of freezing temperatures, the weekend is shaping up to be beautiful, with abundant sunshine and 50 degrees forecast for Saturday. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the mild weather, spend some time in nature, and help a worth cause.

Despite the bitter cold, volunteers have continued to push forward on clearing the main trail. We’re nearly halfway along the backbone trail connecting east to west, and hoping to make significant progress this weekend.

We’ll have the Trail in a Box on site, with hand and power tools, but please feel free to bring your own tools if you like. Water and snacks will be provided.
