Limestone bluffs rise over the northeastern edge of the quarry lake in this view.
Current plans call for the main trail to be routed near those bluffs, with a bench where people can sit and watch the sun set over the lake, and perhaps a picnic table to enjoy lunch with cooling breezes coming off the water.
There are no benches or tables as of yet, but there’s still a nice view:
