The Goat Creek Trail is a short trail that serves as a singletrack connector between the west end of the Mountain Goats trail and the west end of the Creekside Trail. It passes beneath the Hegwald bridge, and features twists and turns through a lush riparian environment along a small stream, winding around huge Cottonwood trees, with some short punchy climbs and tight turns. This trails also runs for a bit along two old railbeds, one a section of the old MKT (Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway) and the other a short spur that once serviced the fuel depot at the old concrete plant.
